Apparently this kid has NOT gotten the memo about sleeping during the night. We've never been so EXHAUSTED in our entire lives and sometimes at 3 am I feel like I want to give him back, but by 9 am I'm so glad he's here! I'm not an awful Mom.... I promise Ü

i remember feeling that way with kaitlyn. i had never been so tired in my life. do you swaddle him? if not id highly recommend it. kaitlyn loved it and it helped her sleep a lot better. also, "happiest baby on the block" is a great movie to rent from the library. we recommend it to everyone who is expecting.
im going to need to see this adorable guy soon! Maybe after my boy makes his entrance we should get them together to be little buddies!
he really really is so adorable! And dont worry - youll get used to the exhaustion :) Im dreading those first few weeks of insanity. its the best...and the worst of times!

What a little cutie he is!!! Today he's a week old and before you know it a whole year will have gone by. I love the father/baby sleeping pictures. They are the best!
Newborns are so tiring. Oh man when they don't sleep at night it's the worst. Gabby is getting better but she certainly had her days and nights confused for sure. Sleep/rest whenever you can. The first week as parents with a newborn really throws you for a loop doesn't it? It did with me anyway. It was a doozy. Good luck, bring little Jaxton over here if you need a break.
He is adorable! A new born is tiring for sure! Hang in there, it will get better :) Just get some sleep whenever possible. I love the first picture of him...so cute and tiny!
