Some fun tricks that Jaxton can do now that he is 9 months old.....
-He can walk along the furniture
-He still says 'no' to every stranger he meets.... but at least he does it with a smile Ü
-He waves when we wave hi or bye-bye to him
-He has FINALLY said his own variation of momma - I am now vava, fafa, or wawa..... I will take what I can get since it has been dada and dad for the last 5 months!!!
-He can pull himself up on the wall and stand pretty much indpendently.
-He stands up in his pac-and-play after his nap and jabbers non stop.
-He eats bigger boy foods like the graduate puffs
-He claps whenever we say good boy or good job or YAY even if it is not directed at him
-He still coughs after someone else
-He loves to be read to and he even helps to turn the page of the book when it is time
-The speech therapist in me is happy to report that he can say his /l/, /v/, /w/, /d/, /b/, and /f/ sounds.
-He gives kisses on command....the open mouth kind---- YUMMY Ü
-When he is really excited he squeals - it is SO cute!!!!
-When he is in his highchair waiting to be fed, he screams like he is being murdered until we feed him
-He has become a picky eater, but he LOVES baby yogurts
-He has a really great belly laugh when he gets tickled
-He knows how to play peeky-boo (as we call it) and covers his face with his burp rag when he wants to play
-He has 6 teeth (2 on bottom and 4 on top)... and if they are any indication of what his real teeth will look like - oh boy - what a poor kid
-He takes 3-4 hour naps and still sleeps 12-13 hours at night. YAY!
-He has climbed the stairs a few times (like 1 step, but still...)
He brings such a happiness to our home and we love him SO much!!!
AND...last but not least - we are moving back to Boise. We couldn't even handle a full December over here in Idaho Falls. Brrrrr! Ü
