It was a really rainy night! When we got done carving pumpkins, Jax played in the rain for a while. He LOVED it!!!
The finished product!
Jax has been super, super cuddle-y the past few weeks. It has been lots of fun to get all of the snuggles out of him! He is such a sweet boy! I have reached the point that I just can't imagine life or our family without him! What a lovie!!!
I don't really understand how to count the whole pregnancy thing in months. I don't know why, I'm kinda dumb about that. It's probably easier to just stick to weeks...but I don't have that many fingers :) So, anyway, here's my 4 month picture. I am HUGE and feel gross and fat! But it's fun to document so that I can look back in a year and laugh :)
We got some cool new toddler toys from my friend Amber. At least once a day I hear Jax SCREAMING at the top of his lungs: MOOOOMMMM, HEEEEELLLLP! He constantly climbs up on his little car track. What a stinker!!! He's a climber for sure!
Jax LOVES his tub crayons! He stays in the tub for literally 45 minutes coloring! He has been squeeky, squeeky clean the past few days because he wants to take a bath every ten minutes!!
Honking Daddy's nose after his tubby! :)
This year, Jax was ELMO for Halloween! He was SO unimpressed with dressing up! He pretty much hated it!! I am always so impressed with my friends that home-make their kids' costumes! My cousin, Savannah, always throws together THE BEST costumes for her cute little girl!!! Maybe Jax would've liked dressing up more if he would have had a cool costume to put on!?!? Oh, well! One year I will learn how to be a crafty/creative Mom! I don't think it helped that we had an Elmo trick-or-treating basket for him. I think it kinda creeped him out a bit to be holding an Elmo head. ha!
Jaxton REFUSED to put his costume back on for Halloween night, so instead, I threw on his pilot coat and called it good for a costume! Luckily it was super cold outside on Halloween, so it worked out OK! :)
In preparation for the new baby coming (which I realize is still a LOOOOONG ways away), we moved Jax to a BIG BOY room!! We were so, so scared to do this transition, so we wanted to make it happen well in advance before the baby arrived! And you know what? It couldn't have gone more perfectly! It was like no biggie to him at all. I think he actually sleeps better in his new bed! And he just loves his new room! We did a BSU theme... I think that was mostly for Daddy :) ...BUT... in a few years Jax will be able to choose his own them!
It's not perfect yet and I think I want to move around some of the cloth wall hangings that I made. I don't know, I am constantly re-arranging rooms, so I won't be suprised if this set-up doesn't last too long :)
My Mom painstainkingly and lovingly painted the stars for me! Thank you, thank you!
The cloth wall hangings were super easy and REALLY cheap to make. I just followed the instructions on THIS website I like how they turned out too! It has been fun to put it together for him!

I loved this blog post! Here are the things I loved:
1. I love the outfit you are wearing in your 4 month pics. What a sassy mama you are!
2. I loved the pumpkins you carved! We did that too this year for FHE too. Fun stuff!
3. I love Jaxton's new room! You are such a good decorator. A talent I lack for sure. I especially love his new bed. Where did you get it? It's the perfect toddler bed. We still haven't transitioned Livvy from her crib yet! Pathetic I know.
4. Jaxon looked adorable in his Elmo and pilot costume! Too bad we don't live closer. How cute would that have been for them to go trick or treating together as a flight attendant and a pilot!
It looks like you had a great October! We sure miss you guys! Sorry this is a novel of a comment.:)
What a fun month! I love Jaxton's new room; we're doing the baby's room in blue and orange too :). And you look darling!
CUTE ROOM!!! i love it!!!
and I love his elmo costume!!
and that's hilatious that he climbs that car ramp! my kids never did that :)
and you look so cute pregnant!!!
Loved the update. I have never heard of bath markers, oh man I need to go buy some. Awesome. I love Jax's elmo costume. So adorable. That bed is awesome. I've never seen one like that. I am keeping Gabby in her crib for as long as possible. I had to put Corbin in a toddler bed at 15 months because he was crawling out and falling on his head. I don't think we'll have that problem with Gabby so she'll be in the crib for a long time.
p.s. you look cute prego not fat
Your little family is so stinkin' adorable! I wish I could snuggle Jax! Can't wait for the next little cutie to come along. I love Jax's new room! Love you guys so much!!!! - Allyson
His little Elmo costume was so cute. Rachel wasn't into Halloween either so it just must be the age. Love the bedroom also. Super cute. See you are crafty/creative.
